Jobs/Roles in the ECE Community: Internationally

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.
World Vision believes “in a full solution to poverty and injustice”. They provide emergency assistance to children and families affected by disasters and conflict, partner with communities for long-term solutions to alleviate poverty, and advocate for justice on behalf of the poor I like this organization because their focus is for all children over the world (nearly 100 countries) supporting all people regardless of their race, age, religion, and ethnicities. One of their vision is to “building a better world for children”.
World Vision also focus on education to improve education in the poverty cities, they  work with communities and local governments to improve the quality of education children receive.
They have a job opening called Senior Regional Advisor, the responsibilities are establish collaborative relationships and networks with fundraising and marketing colleagues within World Vision, WVI partners, and Support Office counterparts. Promote the agency’s perspective in developing strategies that integrate fundraising and programming realities. Build external relationships and networks that broadly support resource acquisition and allocation.
I like this job because one of the role is to help ensure funding priorities align with field needs, regional strategies and Partnership initiatives by proactively engaging with fundraisers and marketing teams while offers are being developed. Therefore, I could decide where the funding should be funded to promote children’s well-being,  depends on where the most needs are.

National Child Support Enforcement Association (NCSEA)

NCSEA  serves as the voice of the child support community. Their mission is to support child support to support professionals, agencies, and strategic partners worldwide through professional development, communications, public awareness, and advocacy to enhance the financial, medical and emotional support that parents provide for their children.
They believe that both parents are responsible for the emotional and financial support of their children.  We believe that the best interests of the children come first and individual interests should be secondary when parental or professional interests differ.
NCSEA serves child support professionals, agencies, and strategic partners worldwide through professional development, communications, public awareness, and advocacy to enhance the financial, medical and emotional support that parents provide for their children. I like how the organization advocates on behalf of children by promoting sound public policy and allocation of resources to support implementation of those policies.
I am interested in the Child Support Officer position. The duties include plan, direct, manage, supervise and perform a variety of tasks involving case establishment, collections, and distribution of family and child support within the Department of Child Support Services.   Qualification includes One year of clerical experience in the Sacramento County office of child support with duties involving case intervention and/or in the public service unit. one year of billing or collection work, including interviewing debtors with a company or agency not using a collection agency.  Completion of 60 semester units from an accredited college or university.
I like this position because it provides direct intervention support to children and families. I would have the opportunities to get to know the children and their families, then develop a support plan to support their needs. I am not quite qualified to the job as I do not have any clerical experience in the Sacramento County office.

•  Developing a strategic plan for educating and engaging target donors that is consistent with Children International's brand positioning” “
• Developing a tactical plan that enables Children International to achieve both near-term and long-term financial objectives

Now, I am not qualified for this job, but I believe in 3-5 years, I would be a qualified candidate.
